The information on this website is provided for general information only.
Although I make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, it should not be treated as medical advice, emergency support, diagnosis, or a substitute for care from a doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist or other qualified healthcare professional.
If you are concerned about a medical condition, medication, severe symptoms, or a significant change in your physical or mental health, you should speak to your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.
Emergency and crisis situations
This service is not an emergency or crisis service.
If you are in immediate danger, feel unable to keep yourself safe, or believe someone else is at serious risk, please contact emergency services, NHS 111, your GP, your local crisis team, or another appropriate urgent support service.
Adults only
I work with adults aged 18 and over.
I do not knowingly provide hypnotherapy or therapy services to children or young people under 18.
Hypnotherapy services
I offer hypnotherapy and related therapeutic support for issues such as anxiety, confidence, phobias, panic attacks, smoking and vaping, motivation and procrastination, habits and related difficulties.
The information on this website is intended to help you understand the type of work I offer. It does not guarantee that hypnotherapy will be suitable for you or that a particular outcome will be achieved.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Results vary from person to person and depend on many factors, including the nature of the problem, your circumstances, your goals, and your engagement with the work.
No guarantee of outcomes
I aim to work carefully, professionally and ethically, but I do not guarantee specific results.
Any examples, testimonials or descriptions of previous client experiences are provided for general illustration only. They do not mean that another person will have the same experience or outcome.
Consultations and suitability
The initial consultation is used to understand your situation, answer questions, and consider whether hypnotherapy is likely to be a suitable approach.
I reserve the right to decline to work with someone if I believe the service is not appropriate for their needs, if another form of support would be more suitable, or if there are safety, ethical or practical concerns.
Fees and payment
Session fees are shown on the Contact and Prices page or explained before you book.
Payment arrangements will be confirmed before sessions begin. Fees may change from time to time, but any fee change will be communicated clearly.
Cancellations and missed appointments
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give as much notice as possible.
Appointments cancelled with insufficient notice may be charged at the full session fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances. The specific cancellation period and fee policy will be explained before work begins.
Confidentiality
Sessions are confidential, subject to the usual legal, ethical and safeguarding limits.
Information may need to be shared if there is a serious risk of harm, a safeguarding concern, a legal requirement, a court order, or another serious situation where disclosure is necessary.
More information about how personal information is handled is set out in the Privacy Notice.
Recordings, transcripts and notes
I use secure clinical documentation systems to support note-taking and record keeping.
Where recordings, transcripts or clinical notes are used, this will be explained before work begins. More detail is provided in the Privacy Notice and client agreement.
Privacy and data protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice.
The Privacy Notice explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, how it is stored, how long it is kept, who it may be shared with, and what rights you have under UK data protection law.
